Stop by the Kent Conservation District office to get a tree that you can plant as part of the Tree for Every Delawarean Initiative (TEDI).
The Kent Conservation District will give away 750 native trees. Trees will be given out on a first come, first served basis and will be limited to one tree per person.
Find information on selecting, planting and caring for these trees on the TEDI web page at de.gov/tedi.
The Tree for Every Delawarean Initiative is a collaborative effort involving DNREC, the Delaware Forest Service and other key stakeholders.
Trees will be available between 9 a.m and 1:00 p.m., or until the trees are gone.
