The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public meeting to share information on the Blades Groundwater National Priorities List (NPL) Site.

The EPA announced the addition of the Blades Groundwater Site to the Superfund National Priorities List in September of 2020, following a public meeting in November of 2019 and a public meeting in December of that year.

DNREC representatives will be present at the meeting along with EPA staff. The topics planned for discussion will include:

• An update on the Remedial Investigation (RI) activities that EPA has completed.
• An update on planned Remedial Investigation activities.
• A discussion of the domestic well sampling EPA’s contractors have conducted.
• Discussion of next steps in the process.
