Learn about ongoing investigation and monitoring efforts at the Homestead Campground Site in Georgetown.

DNREC staff will provide an overview of the site’s history, investigation findings, groundwater monitoring, remediation activities and recent drinking water sampling results.

Current investigations have determined that the campground is not a source of contamination and is not impacting area residents’ drinking water.

The meeting will be held in person at the Cheer Community Center and virtually via Microsoft Teams. Community members are encouraged to attend, learn more about the project, and ask questions.
