The Coastal Zone Industrial Control Board will hear an appeal by Jeanette Swain and Collins Park Civic Association of Secretary’s Order 2021-CZ-0019. This hearing was continued to Sept. 20, 2021.

The appeal, CZ-2021-01, challenges Secretary’s Order No. 2021-CZ-0019 approving the application of FujiFilm Imaging Colorants, Inc., for a Coastal Zone Act Permit to construct and operate a new manufacturing plant to produce high-performance aqueous pigment dispersions at an existing building located at its facility at 233 Cherry Lane, New Castle, Delaware 19720.

The Delaware Coastal Zone Industrial Control Board hears appeals of decisions made by the Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) under the Delaware Coastal Zone Act. The Board has the authority to affirm, reverse, or modify Coastal Zone Act decisions made by the Secretary.
