Celebrate Earth Month by joining a volunteer cleanup of Concord Pond, in Seaford.

The DNREC Division of Watershed Stewardship and the Nanticoke Watershed Alliance will host the cleanup as part of a month-long celebration of Earth Day.

Volunteers will remove trash from the park and areas around Concord Pond and Deep Creek.

Volunteers will meet at the intersection of Concord Pond Road and Henry Drive, where they will park, sign in and pick up provided supplies including trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers. Participants should bring their own trash grabbers if they have them. Water and light snacks will be provided.

The event is rain or shine- participants should remember to bring items such as sunscreen or rain jackets.
