Help build simple infrastructure for the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve (DNERR).
DNERR conducts monitoring of marsh vegetation to inform stewardship of habitats at the Blackbird Creek Reserve. In order to successfully complete this monitoring, the infrastructure used to access these sites needs to be maintained.
Volunteers will assist with building simple infrastructure in the DNERR stewardship shop, providing scientists access to monitoring sites at the reserve.
Volunteers must aged 18 or older to operate power tools. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Please bring work gloves or borrow a pair from the shop.
This event is free. Please pre-register.
