The Delaware Environmental Appeals Board will hold a hearing on appeal 2025-02 and 2024-07.

This will be a hybrid meeting with an in-person option at the DNREC building in Dover and a virtual option via Webex.

Appeal 2025-02, by Maritime Investment Properties II LLC, Maritime Delaware LLC and Timothy G. Konkus, challenges Secretary’s Order No. 2025-W-0006 which approved the application of Fort DuPont Redevelopment and Preservation Corporation for a Subaqueous Lands Permit.

Appeal No. 2024-07, filed by Caesar Rodney Institute, Paul “Wes” Townsend, George Marrick, Natalie C. Madgeburger, the Town of Fenwick Island and Tower Shore Beach Association, challenges Secretary’s Order No. 2024-W-0051, dated Dec. 9, 2024, which approved the Issuance of the Subaqueous Lands Permit, Subaqueous Lands Lease, Wetlands Permit, and Coastal Construction Permit regarding the construction activities associated with the proposed offshore wind project of US Wind, Inc., and its related infrastructure.
