The DNREC Office of the Secretary will hold an administrative hearing on a request by James Thompson and Company, Inc. for reconsideration of penalties set forth in a Secretary’s Order. Hearing record open through April 30, 2025.

On January 21, 2025, the Department issued a Notice of Administrative Penalty Assessment (Secretary’s Order No. 2024-W-0007) against James Thompson and Company, Inc. for violations of the Regulations Governing the Design, Installation and Operation of On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems (7 Del Admin. C. §7101), the Regulations Governing the Control of Water Pollution (7 Del. Admin C. §7201) and Permit No. 359148-04.

James Thompson and Company, Inc. has requested Administrative Hearing for reconsideration of the penalties set forth in that order.
