A public meeting hosted by the Surface Water Discharges Section on Veolia North America’s permit application for a permit to distribute and market biosolids generated at the City of Wilmington Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The purpose of the public meeting is to provide the public with an opportunity to better understand and ask questions related to the permit application. Upon permit issuance, the distribution and marketing permit would allow the City of Wilmington’s Class A/Exceptional Quality biosolids to be utilized on agricultural land, in fertilizers, or other uses as approved by DNREC.
