A full day of free fishing activities for all ages to highlight how much fun kids and adults can have if they try their hand at fishing.

There will be kid’s activities and basic fishing instruction, plus introductory clinics for adults who would like to learn some of the basics of freshwater fishing, bass fishing, and fly fishing.

Besides fishing we will have tours on our boardwalk over the salt marsh, tours of our new building and aquariums, and exhibits with an aquatic theme.

This event is part of the Take A Kid Fishing! series, sponsored by DNREC’s Aquatic Resources Education Center.
