Learn new ways to share scientific information with all audiences.

Do you speak at conferences, public meetings, or other events where you need to convey a specific message? Have you ever felt like you couldn’t quite hold the attention of your audience or communicate your message in a way they could understand? Would you like to learn a simpler, more effective way to design your slides and structure your presentation?

Join science communication coach and trainer, Cathy Angell, for a fast-paced and entertaining class that will show you how to:

  • Grab and hold your audience’s attention
  • Present visuals that have impact
  • Use techniques that will keep your audience engaged in both a live or virtual setting
  • Deliver data in a way that sticks in people’s brains
  • Transform the way you do PowerPoint

This training is free, but pre-registration is required. Registration deadline: Sept. 20, 2024.

This class is part of the DNREC Coastal Training Program.
