Express your opinion about the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposal to deny Delaware’s Clean Air Act petitions aimed at reducing air pollution that comes into Delaware after originating elsewhere.

The state has petitioned to the EPA to try to control air pollution from sources outside of Delaware that is affecting the state. The EPA has announced it will deny the petitions and has not held a hearing on the issue in Delaware. DNREC is holding this session to allow Delawareans an opportunity to be heard. Public comments will be submitted to EPA in the form of a transcript on behalf of all who speak on the proposed denial of the CAA petitions, to EPA’s federal docket (EPA-HQ-OAR-2018-0295).

The session will be held in Room A112, Wing A, on the Delaware Technical Community College Stanton Campus, in Newark. More information is available on the Division of Air Quality website.
