Subaqueous Lands Lease

Chesapeake Utilities – 232-12.19-30.00 & 32-1.07-154.00 – to repair by replace an existing 4-inch diameter steel gas main with a 4-inch diameter by approximately 75 foot long High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) gas main, permanently impacting approximately 50 square feet of subaqueous lands channelward of mean low water in Broad Creek, located adjacent to Delaware Avenue and Front Street, Laurel, Sussex County, DE.

Lee George – 234-18.09-7.00 – to construct a 3 by 30 foot long walkway over federally regulated wetlands, a 4 by 100 foot long pier, a 6 by 30 foot long dock, and to install a boatlift with four (4) associated pilings in Burton Prong located at 7 Blackberry Lane, Lot A-5, Harbeson, Sussex County, DE.

David and Kellie Regn – 134-12.00-320.04 – to construct a 3 by 70 foot long pier, a 3 by 30 foot long dock, and to install a boatlift with four (4) associated pilings in White Creek located at 46 Betts Avenue, Ocean View, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Lease Renewal

Katherine Ann Panco – 533-19.16-25.00 – to maintain a 5 by 12 foot long dock, a 7 by 12 foot long pier with three (3) mooring pilings, a boatlift with two (2) associated pilings, and a grandfathered 11.5 by 19 foot long boat ramp in Roy’s Creek located at 38433 Walnut Lane, Selbyville, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Lease Supplemental

The Dunn Family Trust – 234-34.11-25.00 – to repair by replace an existing 4 by 120 foot long pier, to remove a 17 by 13 foot long dock, and construct a 4 by 25 foot long pier extension, a 6 by 25 foot long dock, a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings, and two (2) free-standing mooring pilings, in Indian River, at Riverdale, 31632 River Rd., Millsboro, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Permit

Todd Moyer – 134-20.11-32.00 – to install a new boatlift with four (4) associated pilings and to authorize and relocate an existing 5 by 14 foot long floating PWC dock in Cedar Pond at 39663 Baltimore Street, Bay View Park, South Bethany, Sussex County, DE.

SB North, LLC. – 13-003.00-001, 13-007.00-020, 13-007.00-021, 13-007.00-053, 13-007.00-054, 13-007.00-090 – to install three bottomless arched culvert cells, 106 feet in length and 60 inches in diameter utilizing approximately 40 cubic yards of riprap for inflow and outflow scour protection, and to install 140 linear feet of shoreline stabilization utilizing approximately 47 cubic yards of rip-rap located in Joy Run at 540 Ratledge Road, Middletown, New Castle County, DE.

Hanna Holdings L.P. – 134-23.00-4.00 – to install a 2.5 by 96 foot long boardwalk parallel to the existing bulkhead and to repair by replace an 8 by 84 foot long marina pier, and to repair and relocate six (6) 2 by 8 foot long finger piers, and to install eighteen (18) new mooring pilings located in Fenwick Ditch at Harpoon Hanna’s, 39064 Harpoon Road, Fenwick Island, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Lease and Subaqueous Lands Permit

John and April Stanch – 5-33-20.13-61.01 – to maintain a 4 by 10 foot long pier, a 5 by 15 foot long dock, and an existing PWC lift, and to construct a 5 by 20 foot long dock extension, and to install a boatlift with four (4) associated pilings, and to relocate an existing PWC lift in Roy’s Creek located at 38355 Bayberry Lane, Selbyville, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Permit and Wetlands Permit

Delaware Department of Transportation – 330-5.00-30.00 – to repair Bridge BR 3-164, resulting in 10,580.43 square feet of permanent subaqueous impacts, 1,339.39 square feet of temporary subaqueous impacts, and 65.81 square feet of temporary state regulated tidal wetland impacts, in Cedar Creek, Slaughter Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Permit and Water Quality Certification

DNREC Division of Watershed Stewardship proposes to use a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Individual Permit to renourish three sections of Delaware Bay shoreline, via truck-fill method, at Pickering Beach, Kitts Hummock, and Bowers Beach in Kent County, Delaware. Approximately 65,900 cubic yards of sand from an inland borrow source will be used to restore approximately 9,600 linear feet of beach in these areas. Additionally, the applicant requests for a Section §401 Water Quality Certification. Approval is being requested to conduct beach replenishment along the Delaware Bay shoreline.

Subaqueous Lands Permit, Wetlands Permit and Water Quality Certification

The DNREC Division of Watershed Stewardship, Shoreline and Waterway Management Section (Canal: 134-13.00-94.00 & Muddy Neck Complex: 134-17.00-38.00, 134-20.00-1.00, 134-20.00-2.00, 134-20.00-4.00 & 134-20.00-5.00) proposes to conduct maintenance dredging in the Assawoman Canal and to beneficially use dredged material at the Muddy Neck Marsh Complex of Assawoman Wildlife Area in Little Assawoman Bay, Sussex County, Delaware. As part of the project, up to 50,000 cubic yards of sediment would be dredged from Assawoman Canal consistent with previous dredge design depths, transported to Muddy Neck Marsh Complex, and placed by thin layer placement to restore the existing wetland area. Additionally, the applicant requests for a Section §401 Water Quality Certification. Approval is being requested to conduct maintenance dredging and marsh restoration along the Assawoman Bay and within the Muddy Neck Marsh Complex.

If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
