Fifer Orchards has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 300 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.43 MGD, 12.9 MG per month, and 25.8 MG per year. The well will be located 2.1 miles West of Camden Wyoming in Kent County, on Almshouse Road. Tax parcel NM-00-093.00-02-12.00.000.

Mark Davis has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 500 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.72 MGD, 5.76 MG per month, and 11.52 MG per year. The well will be located 3.2 miles South of Georgetown in Sussex County, on Davis Road. Tax parcel 2-31-15.00-0005.00.

Michael Tull has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 600 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.86 MGD, 25.8 MG per month, and 51.6 MG per year. The well will be located 3.3 miles West of Blades in Sussex County, on Harvest Acres Lane. Tax parcel 5-31-12.00-0052.07.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by April 13, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
