The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the Former Thompson Gas Station Site located in Laurel, DE. The Site, once used as a filling station requires a Remedial Action Work Plan; removal of underground storage tanks; a supplemental vapor intrusion investigation must be conducted prior to use of the current on-site building, or any building constructed in the future; abate asbestos containing materials prior to, or during, demolition activities at the site; an Environmental Covenant; Contaminated Materials Management Plan; Remedial Action Completion Report; and a Long Term Stewardship Plan.
