The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s Coastal Zone Act Program has received a Request for Status Decision (Project CZA-438SD) from Tangent Generation Resources (edgeGEN). EdgeGEN is proposing to install and operate three 2-megawatt natural gas-fired reciprocating internal combustion engines at the Kuehne Chemical (Kuehne) facility at 1645 River Road, Delaware City, DE 19706. The engines would provide peak shaving electricity to Kuehne during times of high grid demand. The application can be viewed at https://de.gov/cza. Water St., Ste. 7B, Dover, DE 19904 by close of business on December 3, 2019. Afterwards, the Secretary will make a decision on this application and notify the public.
