The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Sussex County Council of Georgetown, Delaware, to construct one regional pump station with dual pumps, approximately one thousand four hundred and forty one linear feet of six inch (1,441 LF of 6”) forcemain and related appurtenances to serve the Headwater Cove, the future subdivisions of Acadia and Beach Tree, the existing Wyndam subdivision, as well as parcels 58.01, 58.095 and 60.01 located in Indian River Hundred, Sussex County, Delaware. The pump station will be located in the approved Headwater Cove Subdivision and discharge via a 6” forcemain and tie into an existing force main on John J. Williams Highway.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before June 5, 2019. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
