Notice has been given that:

Christiana Care Health Services – Christiana Hospital, requests a construction permit to replace the existing engine of EP-107 2,000 kW Cummins Distributed Generator Set at their 4755 Ogletown Stanton Road, Newark, County of New Castle facility.  The existing engine suffered a serious failure and will be replaced with a new one of the same model number and emissions profile. By Permit #:APC-2014/0083-CONSTRUCTION (AMENDMENT 1)(MNSR)(NOxRACT)(NSPS) permitted emissions will remain unchanged.

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request.  The application is posted at  To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Tracy Mattson at (302) 739‑9402.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday,  June 15, 2020.  A request for a hearing shall be in writing.  The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
