Notice has been given that the Delaware Department of Corrections located at 23207 DuPont Blvd, Georgetown has applied for a permit (APC-2017/0045-C/O) to operate an Auto Body Shop that conducts any or all of the following: collision repair, vehicle painting, paint stripping, or sanding. This Auto Body Shop has a potential to emit less than a combined total of 25 tons per year of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending May 4, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
