Notice has been given that:
City of Wilmington Porter Filter Plant requests a permit to construct and operate a baghouse on an existing lime storage silo at their water treatment facility located at 2052 East Park Drive, Wilmington, Delaware. The new Bin Vent Model TBV-2 baghouse manufactured by Donaldson-Torit is a replacement to the original baghouse manufactured by Griffin. The silo and associated baghouse will be permitted to emit 0.018 tpy of PM10 (particulate matter) by Permit# APC-2020/0086-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending May 4, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
