The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Strahly Holdings, LLC proposes to construct a submersible sanitary sewer pump station, an emergency generator and approximately five thousand three hundred and thirty-one linear feet (5,331 LF) of six (6) inch diameter force main to serve one hundred and seventy-five (175) single family homes in the proposed Cattail Creek subdivision. The proposed subdivision is to be located on the south side of Barratts Chapel Road at the Buffalo Road intersection north of Frederica in Kent County, Delaware. The force main will be installed within Cattail Creek before exiting the subdivision and running east approximately 2/3 of a mile along the south side of Barratts Chapel Road before discharging into a thirty-six (36) inch diameter Kent County force main.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before April 8, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
