The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Whispering Pines, Inc., of Rockland, Delaware, to construct an E-One grinder pump station with dual pumps and related appurtenances and one hundred and ninety three linear feet of one and a quarter inch (193 LF of 1.25”) forcemain to serve the existing Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park, located along Walnut Shade Road, approximately 2,400 feet south of the intersection with Rising Sun Road, Sussex County, Delaware. The pump station and the forcemain will be located within the Mobile Home Park.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before April 5, 2020.   A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
