The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

The Town of Middletown proposes to construct approximately eight hundred and thirty linear feet (830 LF) of ten (10) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main in Middletown on Ash Blvd. from the Ash Blvd. pump station to the Rt. 301 intersection.  The proposed force main will be used to bypass flows from the Ash Blvd. pump station during proposed upgrades to the station and then serve as a permanent force main conveying flow to the Middletown Commons wastewater treatment facility.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before January 22, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
