Artesian Water Company, Inc. has applied for a modification of its Riverside, Church Creek, Barkers Landing, Jonathans Landing, Riverview and Weatherstone Crossing public water allocations. They are now interconnected into a larger system, Church Creek, serving approximately 7,500 people in New Castle County. The application includes ten existing public wells. The requested allocation is 2.46 MG per day, 53.99 MG per month, and 452.92 MG per year.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by January 6, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
