The Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has issued Secretary’s Order Number 2019-W-0045 which authorizes Sargio Corporation to perform the following activities: To conduct mechanical maintenance dredging of approximately 3,500 cubic yards of sediment to a depth of -4 feet below Mean Low Water in the marina basin and to a depth of -6 feet below Mean Low Water in the marina access channel at Bay Vista Marina, adjacent to the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal, near the terminus of Basin Street in Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County, DE and to dispose of the dredged material via excavator and water-tight dump trucks to an adjacent land parcel (Tax Parcel # 3-34-19.16-25.02), Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County, DE. The public hearing on the application was held on March 14, 2019.
