Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Windward on the River, LP of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, to install a pump station with dual pumps, approximately two thousand, three hundred and fifty linear feet of four inch (2,350 LF of 4”) C-909 DR-18 PVC forcemain and related appurtenances, to serve the proposed Windward on the River residential development, located on South Rehoboth Boulevard, approximately 0.34 miles south of Cedar Beach Road (SR-36), City of Milford, Kent County, Delaware. The pump station will be located at the residential property on Windward Boulevard. The forcemain will installed from the pump station, run southwards along Windward Boulevard, then northwest along South Rehoboth Boulevard (Business Route 1) and terminate at an existing manhole on Cedar Beach Road (SR-36)

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before October 23, 2019. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
