Allocation Permit

Southern Delaware Therapeutic has requested an allocation permit for one proposed fire protection well.  The maximum daily withdrawal is 165,600 gallons per day. The well will be located south of Milton in Sussex County, near the intersection of Harbeson and Carpenter Roads. Tax parcel 235-26.00-17.14.   

Alternative Method of Compliance

Dinesh J. Patel has applied for an Alternative Method of Compliance under Section 12.0 of The Delaware Regulations Governing the Construction and Use of Wells to construct a Public well to serve a pizzeria.  The property is located at 6549 Halltown Road, Hartly, DE, 19953.  Tax map parcel WD-00-074.00-01-13.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by October 14, 2019, at 4:30 p.m.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
