Federal Consistency Certifications have been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following:
Mispillion Inlet and Cedar Creek Maintenance Dredging (2019.0133)
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District (USACE) proposes maintenance dredging at Mispillion Inlet and Cedar Creek, Sussex County, DE for a ten year period using USACE-owned dredge boats. Approximately 5,000 cubic yards of dredged material will initially be removed from areas with depths less than -6 feet mean lower low water. USACE proposes to beneficially utilize the dredged sand to restore adjacent eroded shorelines.
Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Certification will be accepted for 30 days from the date of this notice (09/29/2019).
