Joy Beach POA – (Disposal location 2-34-12.00-227.00) (Dredge location/Disposal 234-12.00-94.00) – To mechanically maintenance dredge 3,500 cubic yards of material to a depth of –3.5 feet MLW in the Joy Beach artificial lagoons and an access channel to the Rehoboth Bay at Joy Beach, Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware and to dispose of 2,500 cubic yards of dredged material via barge mounted excavator into water tight trucks and deposited on a contained disposal site at Lot #26, Bay Oak Drive, Bay Oaks, Lewes, Sussex County, DE and deposit the remaining 1,000 cubic yards of dredged material at a community-owned vacant lot adjacent to Hunt Club Road, Lewes, Sussex County, DE

Elaine Wolf – (2-34-34.11-27.00) – To remove two existing mooring pilings and install a boatlift with four associated pilings in Frames Cove, at 32000 River Road, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE

SPI Pharma – (335-5.00-12.00) – To install eight new submersible pumps supported by 4 inch support piles installed beneath the seabed and to maintain the existing intake and outfall structures and 17 existing wells located beneath the Cape Henlopen State Park Fishing Pier adjacent to Cape Henlopen Drive, Lewes, Sussex County, DE.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice.  Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
