Reg. 1102 Permit Applications

Notice has been given that the following companies have applied for a permit to operate an Auto Body Shop that conducts any or all of the following: collision repair, vehicle painting, paint stripping, or sanding.  Each Auto Body Shop has a potential to emit less than a combined total of 25 tons per year of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).

  • East Coast Restorations, 114 N Main St, Bridgeville 19933, Permit: APC-2013/0144-C/O
  • Hertrich Collision Center of Bear, 150 Buckley Blvd, Bear 19701, Permit: APC-2019/0027-C/O
  • Porter Auto Body West, 303 E Cleveland Ave, Newark 19711, Permit: APC-2010/0075-C/O

The applications for these permits may be reviewed at the offices of the Division of Air Quality, State Street Commons, 100 W. A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending September 16, 2019.  A request for a hearing shall be in writing.  The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
