Federal Consistency Determinations have been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following:
SPGP 20 Reissuance (2019.0089)
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Philadelphia District, proposes the reissuance of the Department of the Army, Delaware State Programmatic General Permit-20 (SPGP-20), authorizing certain existing and proposed piers, docks, mooring piles, boat lifts, breakwaters, and the replacement of existing serviceable bulkhead structures in navigable waters of the United States within the geographic boundaries of the Philadelphia District Corps of Engineers in the State of Delaware. The current SPGP-20 expires on December 31, 2019. This general permit would expire on December 31, 2024.
Atlantic FMP Amendment 8 (Atlantic Herring FMP) (2019.0119)
The NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service proposes to adopt Amendment 8 to the Atlantic Herring Fishery Management Plan. The amendment would establish a long-term acceptable biological catch control rule that considers Atlantic herring’s role in the ecosystem and prohibit midwater trawling in inshore waters from the US/Canada border to the Rhode Island/Connecticut border.
Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Determination will be accepted for 20 days from the date of this notice (08/25/2019).
