The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Sussex County proposes to construct three sanitary sewer pump stations and flow control structures located at the Bridgeville Wastewater Treatment Facility, the Heritage Shores Community in Bridgeville and at the Dolby Farm along Rt. 13 in Seaford. The purpose of the proposed pump stations is to transmit sanitary sewer flow from Greenwood and Bridgeville to the City of Seaford’s sewer system and treatment facility. This work is phase four of the Western Sussex Sanitary Sewer District Transmission Facilities project. The pump stations at the Bridgeville Wastewater Treatment Facility (101 North Main St.) and the Dolby Farm (22183 Sussex Highway) are new stations. The pump station improvements at Heritage Shores (Passwaters Farm Rd.) are upgrades to the existing one.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before July 17, 2019. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
