Tidewater Utilities, Inc. has applied for a modification of its East District public water allocation which serves approximately 4,500 people in New Castle County. The application includes seven existing public wells. The requested allocation is 0.667 million gallons (MG) per day, 18.329 MG per month, and 130.599 MG per year.
Tidewater Utilities, Inc. has applied for a modification of its North West District public water allocation which serves approximately 3,800 people in New Castle County. The application includes seven existing public wells and one proposed well. The requested allocation is 0.957 MG per day, 18.300 MG per month, and 140.663 MG per year.
The Town of Selbyville has applied for a modification of its public water allocation which serves approximately 1,600 people in Sussex County. The application includes three existing public wells. The requested allocation is 0.8 MG per day, 20.0 MG per month, and 165.0 MG per year.
Indian River Power, LLC has requested a renewal of its industrial water allocation for one existing surface intake. The requested daily withdrawal for the intake is 18.0 MG gallons per day. Tax parcel 2-33-02.00-0002.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by July 1, 2019, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
