The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Allen Harim Foods, LLC of Millsboro, Delaware, to eliminate septic systems and spray irrigation that used to, respectively, treat domestic and industrial waste by installing one packaged pump station with dual pumps, one grinder pump, approximately three thousand and thirty linear feet of three and four inch HDPE SR 11 (3030 LF of 3” and 4”) forcemain; one thousand and four linear feet of one and half and three inch (1004 LF of 1.5” and 3”) forcemain, and related appurtenances, to serve the existing Allen Harim Foods LLC hatchery, 5 private residences and the High Tide Church.
The Hatchery is located at Nine Foot Road (SCR 26), Dagsboro, Delaware, 4000 feet west of Route 113. The 5 private residences which will install grinder pumps, are located on Nine Foot Road, Dagsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. The packaged pump station will be installed on the Allen Harim Foods LLC property, Dagsboro, Sussex County, Delaware.
Two forcemains, one from the proposed packaged pump station and the other from a proposed grinder pump station to serve a proposed building on the Allen Harim Foods LLC property, will be connected into one, with the resulting forcemain running southwards to Nine Foot Road, then eastwards on the northern side of Nine Foot Road for approximately 1,800 linear feet, cross to the southern side of Nine Foot Road, run approximately 1,200 linear feet and tie into an existing Sussex County manhole.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before May 22, 2019. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
