Noramco requests a construction permit to add two batch manufacturing processes at their facility located at 550 Swedes Landing Rd, in Wilmington, Delaware. Permit: APC-2018/0054-CONSTRUCTION will allow for the installation of a new 2000 gallon reactor, a process condenser and a vacuum pump. Emissions from the two processes will each be limited to 0.46 TPY of Methanol, 0.32 TPY of Acetone, 0.002 TPY of Hydrogen Chloride, 0.11 TPY of Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether, and 0.05 TPY of Isopropylamine.

The existing facility-wide emission limits for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) will remain unchanged.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending April 29, 2019. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
