Notice has been given that:
SUEZ Water Delaware (formerly known as United Water of Delaware) requests a permit to construct an emergency generator rated at 1500 kW at their facility located at 2000 First State Boulevard in Wilmington, Delaware. The engine used in this generator complies with U.S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR 89, Non-Road Tier II emissions limits. The emergency generator will operate only during emergencies and for the purpose of maintenance checks and readiness testing. Permit No. APC-2019/0051-Construction.
The application for this permit may be reviewed at the offices of the Division of Air Quality, State Street Commons, 100 W. A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding the application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending April 15, 2019. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
