The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control will offer its customers a complete ePermitting system that offers licenses, permits, registrations, and more, online.
The new system, part of a growing Digital DNREC, offers online application for permits and licenses and user accounts and profiles to allow users to manage their own portfolio of licenses and permits. Users will be able to get automated renewal alerts, track required courses and training, and submit reports to the Department that might be required.
The system is now live with a small selection of permits and licenses focused on recreational fishing. It will be expanded through the Department over the next few years.
The system features an efficient, streamlined, and fully mobile interface for users. It is integrated with online payment systems. For staff within the Department, the system offers central and efficient administrative tools, allowing them to concentrate on serving their clients.
Here’s just some of what you will be able to do:
Apply Online for permitting, licenses and registration. Now available: recreational fishing licenses.
Create a DNREC account to manage your portfolio.
Receive timely reminders and seasonal renewal alerts.
Track required courses and training.
Submit and review reports.
