H. Fletcher Brown Park is located at the intersection of South Park Drive and North King Street, in Wilmington. It is downstream from Brandywine Park and is the site of the former H. Fletcher Brown Vocational High School and the earlier Old Soldiers’ Park.
The site is named for Wilmington chemist and philanthropist Harry Fletcher Brown (1867-1944).
DNREC staff will use the virtual community meeting to gather public input on the conceptual redesign of the park. Those unable to participate in the virtual meeting can call 302-739-9240 for alternate ways to provide comments.
