Delaware Coastal Cleanup Sites

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control will host volunteers at more than 45 sites around the state during the 2024 Delaware Coastal Cleanup, on Saturday Sept. 14, 2024 (Rain Date: Sept. 21). Volunteers can register for cleanup sites in State Wildlife Areas (blue dots) and State Parks (red dots) statewide,


Beach Grass Planting

Volunteers are the backbone of Delaware’s shoreline stabilization. Every spring since 1990, except when pandemic conditions prevented it, dedicated volunteers have stabilized Delaware’s sand dunes by planting more than 5 million stems of Cape American beach grass along ocean and bay beaches.
