The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

The Lewes Board of Public Works proposes to construct approximately one thousand eight hundred linear feet (1,800 LF) of two (2) inch diameter force main to serve fifteen (15) lots along Savannah Road from the Donovans Road intersection southwest about one thousand (1,000) feet past the Dover Street (Viking Way) intersection in Lewes, Delaware.  The force main will allow for service connections to each lot by packaged semi-positive displacement pump stations.  The proposed force main will discharge to a proposed sanitary sewer manhole at the Donovans Road intersection.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before July 1, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
