The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the 222 Maryland Avenue Site located in Wilmington. The Site consists of both 222 Maryland Avenue and 218 Maryland Avenue and were most recently used as apartments and a restaurant, respectively. Due to historic uses in the general vicinity of this Site, these properties must be restricted from residential use.
DNREC issued public notice of the Proposed Plan for 222 Maryland Avenue on March 22, 2020. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available at the office of DNREC-RS (391 Lukens Drive, New Castle, DE, 19720) or online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
