The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Charter Oak Investment, LLC proposes to construct a submersible sanitary sewer pump station, an emergency generator and approximately six hundred and forty-seven linear feet (647 LF) of four (4) inch diameter force main to serve one hundred and four (104) single family homes in the proposed Sycamore Chase subdivision. The proposed subdivision is to be located on the west side of Bayard Road at the Central Avenue intersection south of Ocean View in Sussex County, Delaware. The force main will be installed within Sycamore Chase and discharge to a Sussex County ten (10) inch diameter force main along Bayard Road just west of the Lantern Road intersection.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before April 8, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
