Notice has been given that the Town of Bridgeville located at 101 North Main Street, Bridgeville, has applied for a permit (WT-2019/01) to remove lead-containing coatings from outdoor water tanks by dry abrasive blasting. This activity will be performed on the exterior of one 125,000 gallon tank.
The application for this permit may be reviewed at the offices of the Division of Air Quality, State Street Commons, 100 W. Water Street, Suite 6A, Dover, DE 19904 and 715 Grantham Lane, New Castle, DE, 19720. A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending March 23, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
