The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the Osprey Point Subdivision Site located in Rehoboth Beach. The Site, once used as a golf course, requires a restriction on the future use of groundwater at the Site.
DNREC issued public notice of the Proposed Plan for the Osprey Point Subdivision Site on December 8, 2019. In response to a request from members of the public to extend the comment period due to the holiday season, DNREC accepted comments on the Proposed Plan through January 27, 2020. DNREC sent a responsiveness summary to those members of the public who provided comments on the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan, including the responsiveness summary, are available at the office of DNREC-RS (391 Lukens Drive, New Castle, DE, 19720), at 21309 Berlin Road, Suite 2, Georgetown, DE 19947, or online at: http://www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
