Notice has been given that:

United Cocoa Processor requests a natural minor permit to operate equipment (including a bean roaster, nib roaster, conveyor, cooler and four grinders) used in their cocoa processing operation at 701 Pencader Drive, Newark, New Castle County.  The cocoa processing operation will be permitted to emit 21.03 tons/year (tpy) of VOCs, 0.03 tpy of SO₂, 4.96 tpy of NOx, 4.16 tpy of CO, and 8.85 tpy of particulate matter by Permit# APC-2019/0002.

The application for this permit may be reviewed at the offices of the Division of Air Quality, State Street Commons, 100 W. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending August 19, 2019.  A request for a hearing shall be in writing.  The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
