The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
The Chemours Company FC, LLC of Wilmington, Delaware, to construct two Fluoro Testing Lab wastewater treatment units (Lab #1 and Lab#2), each consisting of one 200 gallon conical collection tank, a transfer pump, two polypropylene filter cartridges, two granular activated carbon 55 gallon tanks, flow sensor, flowmeter, pressure relief valve, pressure gauge and associated piping, to be located inside the Chemours Discovery Hub, University of Delaware STAR Campus, Newark, New Castle County, Delaware.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before August 4, 2019. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
