LEGAL NOTICE: AMENDED PROPOSED PLAN OF REMEDIAL ACTION FOR THE CATHEDRAL OF ST. JOHN SITE (DE-1602)


Division of Waste and Hazardous Substances

The Department invites public comment on a Amended proposal to clean-up of the Cathedral of St. John Site located in Wilmington. The Site; impacted by historic fill, remnants of a coal fired furnace, abandoned underground heating oil tanks and demolition debris; requires capping, sealing the basement walls, periodic indoor air sampling to determine if a vapor intrusion mitigation system is needed, and removal of asbestos containing materials.
