The Delaware Department of Transportation needs to construct a dewatering sump to construct a new bridge and demolish the existing bridge. They will use a 36-inch casing to reach a depth of 5 feet for their excavation. The discharge water will pass through a weir tank, a frac tank, a dewatering silt bag, and a pH adjustment system before being released to the Christina River. They will pump approximately .9 MGD for one year during phase two of this project. The site is located in Newport in New Castle County.

Tidewater Utilities, Inc has requested a modification of an existing allocation permit for proposed public well and three existing wells with a combined capacity of 1,600 gpm. The requested allocation is 1.27 MGD, 36.2 MG per month, and 302.2 MG per year. The proposed well will be located 3.1 miles North of Cheswold in Kent County County, on Red Maple Road. Tax parcel DC-00-028.03-07-30.00.000.
