The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Sunset Village, LLC proposes to construct a duplex submersible sanitary sewer pump station and approximately nine hundred and fifty-four linear feet (954 LF) of six (6) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main to serve two hundred and thirty-eight (238) proposed apartment units and a clubhouse located on the east side of Upper King Road at the Derbywood Circle intersection in Camden, Delaware. The pump station will be built approximately five hundred (500) feet east of the Sunset Village property on the Lands of The Peters Cooper Farm, LLC. The force main will be installed from the pump station east along the south side of the Peters Cooper Farm property and connect to the Kent County force main in the median of U.S. Route 13.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before February 10, 2021. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
