The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the Riverside Redevelopment Site located in Wilmington. The Site was historically maintained as vegetated land that was filled and developed into a recreational area. The Site requires restriction to non-residential use, a restriction on groundwater withdrawal, and compliance with a Contaminated Materials Management Plan.

DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the Riverside Redevelopment Site on September 17, 2023. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: den.dnrec.delaware.gov
